Inside CompareHaus

Editorial Policy

These are the rules every page on CompareHaus follows.

Evidence first

  • Every specification shown as a fact cites a source you can open.
  • We show only what a source states. Nothing is invented, estimated, averaged or rounded to look neater.
  • Unknown is shown as unknown (“Not listed”), never as zero or as a guess.
  • When credible sources disagree and we cannot settle it from the evidence, we say so instead of picking one quietly.

No fake signals

  • No star ratings, review counts or “tested” badges unless we have done that work.
  • No prices or stock claims on our pages, because we cannot keep them current.
  • Structured data for search engines repeats only what is visible on the page.

Money does not decide coverage

Some links earn us a commission (see our affiliate disclosure). That does not change which products we include, how we compare them, or the results our tools give you. Our tools check the specifications against what you enter; they do not rank products by commission.

AI and people

AI tools help us find and record specifications. A separate check compares them against the sources, and a person approves them before they are shown. How we research explains each step.

Keeping things current

Manufacturers change products and documents. We keep the date each source was read, and we recheck specifications against their sources. If you spot something out of date, our corrections policy explains how we fix it.
