Corrections Policy

We want every specification on CompareHaus to be right, and to show you where it came from. When we get something wrong, we fix it in the open.

What counts as an error

• A specification that does not match its cited source.
• A source that is out of date, for example because the manufacturer has published a newer revision.
• A product matched to the wrong model, size or version.
• A broken or wrong retailer link.
• A statement in our writing that the evidence we cite does not support.

How to report one

Email [email protected]. Tell us the page, the detail you think is wrong and, if you can, a link to a source that shows the correct information. Manufacturers are welcome to send current specification documents.

What we do

1. We check the report against the cited source and any new source you send.
2. If we were wrong, we correct the specification and its source.
3. If the sources disagree and we cannot settle it, we stop showing the value as a fact until we can.
4. We reply to let you know what we found.
