About Us

CompareHaus compares products by their specifications, and shows you where every specification comes from.

Product pages are often hard to compare. One brand lists the load per shelf, another lists the total. One gives the shelf size, another the outside size. Some leave out the number you need. We collect the specifications from each manufacturer’s own documents, put them side by side in the same units, and mark anything the manufacturer does not state as “Not listed” rather than guessing.

What we cover

We are starting with garage and workshop storage, beginning with shelving units, and adding categories as we research them. We cover products sold in the United States and Canada.

What we do not do

• We do not invent or estimate specifications. If a source does not say it, we do not show it as a fact.
• We do not publish star ratings or reviews we have not earned. We have not tested these products ourselves, and we say so.
• We do not show prices. They change too often for us to keep them right, so we link you to the retailer to check.
